Terms of Sale
These terms apply to the paid content sold on onceval.com: today, the Halloween pack. Using Onceval for free (playing tales, creating with the Free plan) does not involve any sale.
1. The seller
MDB (MARABOT), a French société par actions simplifiée (SAS) with share capital of €1,000. Registered office: 3 rue Vigneronne, 63340 Saint-Gervazy, France. SIREN 892 698 390, RCS Clermont-Ferrand. EU VAT number FR66 892 698 390. Contact: hello@onceval.com.
2. What you buy
The Halloween pack is digital content added to your Onceval account. It contains:
- seasonal pieces you can use in the islands you create with Onceval: neep lanterns, corpse lights, a cauldron, skulls, Celtic crosses, ghosts, haunted chapels and kirkyards, and the Samhain look;
- 3 more saved-island slots on your account;
- creator access: once you own the pack, your account can create islands without an invitation.
Islands you make with the pack play for everyone you share them with; they do not need the pack. Nothing is downloaded: the pack lives in your account, on Onceval, for as long as Onceval is operated. It is not a subscription and nothing renews.
To use it you need an Onceval account (sign-in by email), an AI assistant that can connect to Onceval (ChatGPT or Claude, under its own terms and plan) and a recent browser with WebGPU. These are described on the Halloween pack page before you buy.
3. Price
The Halloween pack costs €4.99, VAT included, paid once. VAT is that of your country of residence where the law requires it; it is calculated and shown on the payment page before you pay. The total shown on the payment page is the amount charged. A promotion code may reduce the price, as shown on the payment page.
4. Ordering
- Sign in on onceval.com and open your account page.
- Choose the Halloween pack. A confirmation step sums up what you buy and asks you to tick two boxes: that you accept these terms, and that you ask for immediate delivery and understand you then lose your right of withdrawal (section 6).
- Pay on the secure payment page of our payment provider, Stripe. Onceval never sees or stores your card details.
The sale is complete when your payment is confirmed. We then add the pack to your account (usually within seconds) and email you a confirmation with the terms you accepted. Stripe emails you the receipt.
5. Payment
Payment is by card or the other methods offered on Stripe's payment page, in a single payment. Your payment data is handled by Stripe, under its own terms and privacy policy.
6. Right of withdrawal
If you buy as a consumer, French law normally gives you 14 days after the purchase to withdraw without giving a reason. This right does not apply to digital content supplied without a physical medium once its delivery has begun with your prior express consent and your acknowledgment that you lose the right of withdrawal.
Because the pack is delivered to your account as soon as you pay, the confirmation step asks you to tick two separate boxes, neither ticked in advance: you accept these terms, and you expressly ask for immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once the pack is delivered. The purchase cannot go ahead without both. Your confirmation email repeats this.
7. If something is wrong
We answer for the conformity of the pack as French consumer law requires for digital content (the legal guarantee of conformity). If the pack does not reach your account, does not work as described, or you were charged by mistake, write to hello@onceval.com with the email you bought with. We will fix it, or refund you if we cannot.
8. Your account
The pack belongs to the account it was bought with and cannot be transferred. If you delete your account, the pack is deleted with it, as are your islands. An account banned for misuse keeps its tales playable but can no longer create.
9. Personal data
We use your email to sign you in, deliver the pack and send you the confirmation. Stripe processes your payment; our servers are hosted in France. See what Onceval keeps; for any request about your data, write to hello@onceval.com.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; a new version gets a new number and date. The version you accepted when you bought, linked from your confirmation email, stays the one that applies to that purchase.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer living in another country of the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country. In case of a problem, write to us first at hello@onceval.com: we will look for a solution with you. If none is found, the dispute goes to the competent court under the applicable rules.
